Eunice S. Horwedel, 92, of Astoria died at 1:50 a.m. April 16, 2008, at Astoria Gardens & Rehab Center.
She was born Sept. 1, 1915, in Warren County, a daughter of Harvey and Goldie Stremmel Brinton. She first married Rollin Lybarger and then married Vernon Clair Horwedel, both deceased.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Gene Lybarger of Lewistown and Robert Lybarger of Carthage; six grandchildren; and several great- and great-great grandchildren.
She worked for the Vermont Foundry and Table Grove Clock Factory.
Graveside services were held Monday at Vermont Cemetery with Tim Gilliland officiating. Cremation has been accorded. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.
