Rollin LybargerRollin Eugene Lybarger, 90, of Lewistown died at 5:10 a.m. May 10, 2022, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton, where he was a resident.

He was born March 22, 1932, in Vermont, a son of James R. and Eunice Sarah Brinton Lybarger. He married Edna Marie Krider on June 12, 1950, in Palmyra, Mo. She died May 19, 2015.

He also was preceded in death by one son, Robin Lybarger; and one brother, Robert Lybarger.

Surviving are three daughters, Deborah J. Huggins of Canton, Rebecca M. Wilson of Chicago and Kristal K. (and Dennis) Sprague of Galesburg; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He worked at International Harvester and later worked at the U.S. Arsenal at Joliet, DeFord Pontiac and Endres Equipment, both of Lewistown, and Coleman Pontiac and Buick of Canton, retiring in 1995. He later worked at the former Spoon River Tap in Lewistown.

He was a member of the Lewistown Fire Department for more than 20 years and was active in Toys for Tots at Christmas. He also was a member of the alligator club.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
