Goldie Brinton, 97, of Vermont, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday, June 24, 1985, in McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.
She was born March 27, 1888, in Astoria, the daughter of Eli and Mary (Rauch) Stremmel. She married Harvey Brinton. He preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1930.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Hilda Miller of Monmouth, Mrs. Faye Gore and Mrs. Eunice Horwedel, both of Vermont, and Mrs. Opal Shook of Rozetta; three sons, William Brinton of Cameron, Roy Brinton of Vermont, and Dale Brinton of Horn, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 26 great, great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Kost Memorial Home, Vermont, with Rev. Paul Sellers officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
