Faye Vesta Gore, 96, of Vermont died at 5:10 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2003, at Astoria Gardens.
She was born Dec. 30, 1906, in Fulton County, a daughter of Harvey and Goldie Stremmel Brinton. She married Charles Richard Gore on Dec. 9, 1933, in Petersburg. He died June 24, 1970.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one brother, Dale Brinton of Arkansas; and one sister, Eunice Horwedel of Astoria.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be at a later date. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service for Faye Vesta Gore, 96, of Vermont, who died Friday, March 14, 2003, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kost Memorial Home with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. There will be no visitation. Cremation was accorded. Burial of ashes will be in Vermont Cemetery.
