C. Richard Gore, 59, of Vermont died at McDonough District Hospital at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. L. Dunavin at Kost Memorial Home at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
Mr. Gore was born Dec. 23, 1910, in Isabelle Township, Fulton County, the son of Orville O. and Dollie Edlin Gore. He was married to Faye Vesta Brinton at Petersburg Dec. 9, 1933, and she survives. He was an employee of the Vermont street and water department for 30 years and was a member of the Ipava Sportsman’s Club.
He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Gore of Lansing, Mich., and Thomas Gore of Pekin.
