Geraldine K. Hilton, 83, of Lewistown died at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Bushnell, a daughter of Gustave H. and Bertha Brown Schnarr Sr. She married Wayne Hilton on Dec. 15, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Oct. 23, 1991.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Berton "Budd" Schnarr.
Surviving are one son, Gerald (and Shirley) of Summerfield, Fla.; two brothers, Gus (and Rosalie) Schnarr Jr. of Lewistown and Harold (and Willa) Schnarr of Canton; five sisters, Betty (and Rhudy) Wilson of Tennessee, Darlene (and Richard) Heffren of Florida, Pat (and Robert) McClosky of Iowa, Genevieve (and Lewis) Belville of Lewistown and Creta (and Richard) Harper of Chillicothe; and one grandson.
She worked as a clerk for several businesses in Bushnell.
She was a member of Vermont Bible Church and a former member of Bushnell Christian Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded with services to be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
