Rosalee V. Schnarr, 86, of Lewistown died at 6:37 p.m. Jan. 7, 2012, at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.
She was born April 25, 1925, in rural Littleton, the daughter of Lawrence S. and Florence Vance Derry. She married Gus L. Schnarr Jr. on Sept. 25, 1944, in Lewistown. He died July 13, 2011.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Lyndel Schnarr; and two brothers.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda (and Larry) Smith of New Palestine, Ind., Lorenda (and Alvin) Spilker of Lewistown and Mary Sue (and Allan) Woodruff of Cuba; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker. She also worked at MidCounty Press, Bavery's Restaurant and Camp Ellis POW Camp in the cafeteria and infirmary.
She was of Methodist faith.
She was a member of Lewistown American Legion Auxiliary.
Services were held at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Paul Newhall officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
