Nancy L. Howell, 57, of Ipava, died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at McDonough District Hospital emergency room in Macomb.
She was born June 19, 1941, in Lewistown, a daughter of Cecil L. and Louise Vaughn Burgess. She married Ray T. Howell on Oct. 30, 1958, in Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother of Ipava; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Cathy) Ruark and Laural Howell, both of Ipava, Mrs. Kevin (Angie) Grigsby of Liverpool and Mrs. Carl (Crystal) Parrish of Lewistown; one brother, Raymond Burgess of Cuba; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Bailey of Bath and Mrs. Elton (Alice) Colston of Ipava; one brother-in-law, Loren “Red” Howell of Astoria; and 12 grandchildren.
Her father and one brother preceded her in death.
She last worked in 1993 as a nurse’s aide.
Graveside services were held Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Rev. Martin Janicke officiating. Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
