Donald Gorsuch

Donald L. Gorsuch, 72, of Canton died April 17, 2017, at his residence.

He was born May 4, 1944, in Summum, a son of Leonard and Frieda Shawgo Gorsuch. He married Kathy Sebree on June 4, 1966. She survives.

Also surviving are four children, Curtis (and Chris) Gorsuch, Kim (and Paul) Moffitt and Daniel (and Leslie) Gorsuch, all of Canton, and Brian (and Amy) Gorsuch of Cuba; one brother, John (and Judy) Gorsuch of Summum; two sisters, Shirley (and Richard) Keeler and Judie (and Phil) Webb, both of Lewistown; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Frieda Shawgo Gorsuch.

He worked for Caterpillar for 12 years and owned and operated Gorsuch Appliance in Canton.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #734, American Legion Post 16, VFW Post 1984 and Elks.

He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton with Rev. Greg Ogle officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow services at Brunswick Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a Scholarship Fund at Astoria High School.
