Phillip “Phil” Webb

Phillip “Phil” Eugene Webb, 75, of Lewistown died March 3, 2021, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

He was born Sept. 11, 1945, a son of Robert and Nelda Conner Webb. He married Judy Gorsuch on Oct. 22, 1966, in Summum. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Scott (and Courtney) Webb of Edwards and Clay (and Keri) Webb of Canton; one sister, Jeanie (and Jim) Jackson; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Bobby.

He previously worked with his father and brother at Webb Fertilizer and then later, owned and operated with his wife, Webb Farm and Home in Lewistown until 1988. They later owned and operated Canton Tire Center until his retirement in 2000.

He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.

A funeral service was held Tuesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown at a later date.
