Shirley KeelerShirley A. Keeler, 79, of rural Lewistown died at 11:45 a.m. March 4, 2022, at Courtyard Estate in Bushnell.

She was born July 30, 1942, in Canton, a daughter of Leonard and Freeda Shawgo Gorsuch. She married Richard Keeler on Nov. 27, 1965, in Summum. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Todd (and Bethany) Keeler of Ipava and Brad (and Amanda) Keeler of Lewistown; one brother, John (and Judie) Gorsuch of Summum; one sister, Judy Webb of Lewistown; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Don Gorsuch.

She was a homemaker, and also had worked for Fashion Aire in Havana and for Gorsuch Appliance in Canton. She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, and also had served as the church treasurer and custodian for 40 years.

Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Kathy Barrett officiating. Burial was at Apple Cemetery in rural Lewistown.
