She was born Feb. 3, 1952, in Canton, a daughter of Nellis Clyde and Nellie Baxter Fouts. She married John Gorsuch on June 13, 1970, in Summum. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Andy (and Marcy) Gorsuch of Astoria, Jonathan (and Melissa) Gorsuch of Ipava and Chris (and Melissha) Gorsuch of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Michelle (and Billy) Test of Roby, Mo.; two sisters, Janet Hazzard of Astoria and Lana (and Pete) Hendrickson of Blodgett, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Jenny Lynn Fouts.
She worked as a secretary at Lewistown Ag for 15 years. She volunteered at the Women’s Crisis Center hot-line for several years.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matthew Thiner officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
