Anna FoutsAnna Maye Fouts, 79, of Ipava died at 5:37 p.m. Nov. 1, 2019, at home.

She was born April 18, 1940, in Astoria, a daughter of George Bruce and Eva Marie Easley Welker. She married Rex Wayne Fouts on Jan. 28, 1957, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2003.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Ella Harper; one granddaughter, Joni Duckwiler-Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Jerzee Fouts; and one brother, John Welker.

Surviving are three daughters, Anita (and Steve) Duckwiler, Cindy (and Craig) Porter and Joyce Fouts-Norville, all of Ipava; three sons, Rex (and Suzanne) Fouts Jr. and Dave (and Susan) Fouts, both of Ipava, and Jackie (and Dacia) Fouts of Canton; three brothers, Raymond Welker of Vero Beach, Fla., Franklin Welker of Astoria and Allen (and Crystal) Welker of Vermont; three sisters, Judy (and Dean) Hopkins and Brenda Heath, both of Astoria, and Norma Holmes of Knoxville; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was a cook at Table Grove Grade School. She then was supervisor at Webster Industries in Macomb. After retiring, her delight came from making rugs at her own business, “Anna’s House of Loom”.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial will be at Maryville Cemetery in Bryant.
