Jill ElliottJill Davis Elliott, 55, of Littleton, formerly of Chicago, died at 11:07 a.m. May 23, 2007, at her home.

She was born Oct. 1, 1951, in Astoria, the daughter of Whitney and Norma Siler Davis. She married John David Elliott on Aug. 23, 1969, in Astoria. He died March 10, 2005.

Surviving are three sons, David T. (and Colleen) of Chicago, Terry A. (and Liana) of Chicago Ridge and Joseph R. (and fiancee Mandi) of Littleton; three brothers, Mike (and Peg) Davis, Richard (and Jody) Davis, both of Astoria and John (and Donna) Davis of South Carolina; four grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.

She worked as a patrol officer for the City of Chicago for 20 years, retiring in 2003.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police #7 and Women of the Moose in Rushville and attended Vermont United Methodist Church.

Services were held Saturday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Cindy Rettig officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
