She was born Nov. 23, 1929, in Astoria, a daughter of Melvin and Viola Danner. She was married to Eldon Cox for 54 years. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Harold (and Jana) Cox of Longview and Bernie (and Shelley) Cox of Bourbonnais; three sisters, Audrey Bucy and Miriam Bushnell of Springfield and Shirley Mathis of Wickenburg, Ariz.; two brothers, Phillip Danner of Easton and Dayle Danner of Canton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret, June and Jenny.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a bank teller at Longview Bank and Trust Company for many years.
Services were held Oct. 5 in the Mausoleum of Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. Lakeview Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
