She was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Rushville, a daughter of Burdette and Shirley Riggall Baker. She married Victor Acker on Dec. 13, 1963, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2015.
She also was preceded in death by one son, William Crawford; and one sister, Nancy Albers.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Lynn Crawford of Eureka and Deann D. (and Tim) Collins of Normal; and three grandchildren.
She graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 1952. She completed two years of nurses training at St. Francis Hospital in Macomb, then began her nursing career working at Culbertson Memorial Hospital and McDonough District Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
