Shirley Baker, 89, of Rushville died at 7:23 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2002, at Culbertson Long Term Care Facility.
She was born May 17, 1912, in Mount Sterling, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Logsdon Riggall. She married R. Burdett Baker on March 7, 1932, in Carthage. He died Dec. 7, 1996.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Acker and Nancy Albers, both of Rushville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and a charter member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Women.
Services were held Friday at Worthington Funeral Home with David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
