He was born Jan. 21, 1956, in Ventura, Calif., the son of William Crawford and Patricia A. Baker.
Surviving are his mother, Patricia Acker of Normal; two sisters, Debra Lynn Crawford of Eureka and Deann D. (and Tim) Collins of Normal; and three nieces, Brittany, Bethany and Anna.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Acker; his biological father, William Crawford; and grandparents, Burdette and Shirley Baker.
He graduated from Macomb High School in 1976. He worked at the grocery store in Macomb and later at the Capitol Records in Jacksonville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
