Bernita L. Arnett, 95, of Table Grove died at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 24, 2021, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born July 23, 1925, in Canton, the daughter of Jesse and Laila DeFord Ames. She married Max Harold Arnett on June 5, 1946, in Ipava. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2009.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Wendell and Donald Ames.
Surviving are two sons, Lyle (and Dorothy) Arnett of Lewistown and Terry (and Diana) Arnett of Table Grove; one daughter, Cathy (and Mike) Ulmer of Table Grove; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was a bookkeeper at Farr Farm Service in Table Grove for several years. She also worked at Speer’s Grocery in Table Grove.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Cody Stinnett officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Harris Cemetery in Table Grove.
