Frank Workman

Frank D. Workman, 72, of Beardstown, died Friday, May 23, 1997, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born March 26, 1925, in Sheldons Grove, a son of Thomas Dewey and Eva Mae Stambaugh Workman. He married Bette Rining on Nov. 17, 1951, in Browning. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Terry Workman of Beardstown; one daughter, Vicki Workman of Browning; two brothers, Lyle Workman of Cuba and Max Workman of Princeville; five sisters, Betty Scego of White Hall, Audrey Rining of Browning, Linda Eddington of Ipava, Martha Burnett of Princeville and Bonnie McPhail of Quincy; and four grandchildren.

One sister and four brothers preceded him in death.

He formerly worked for International Harvester Co. in Canton for 29 years.

Services were held Tuesday at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Kevin Sheese officiating. Burial was in Messerer Cemetery near Frederick.

Sager Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
