She was born Feb. 11, 1953, in Beardstown, the daughter of Franklin Dewey and Bette Marie Rining Workman. She married Terry Paul Reedy on Nov. 24, 1972.
Surviving are one daughter, Amber (and Todd) Cawthon of Browning; one son, Russel (and Misty) Reedy of Browning; one brother, Terry (and Karla) Workman of Mount Sterling; one niece; one nephew; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Haley Reedy.
She attended Graham School of Nursing and then began her career at Culbertson Memorial Hospital. Later she became the plant nurse at Oscar Mayer Meat Packing. She retired from Culbertson Hospital in November, 2019. While employed at the hospital she was instrumental in creating their cardiac rehabilitation program. She also was a cardiac home health care nurse for Spoon River Home Health Care.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Messerer Cemetery near Frederick.
