Clyde J. Weese, 91, of Astoria, died at 8:17 p.m. Friday, April 4, 1997, at the Astoria Healthcare Center.
He was born Aug. 11, 1905, in Bluff City, a son of Walter and Hattie Mae Derry Weese.
Surviving are two brothers, Sheldon Weese of Lewistown and Carl Weese of Cuba; and two sisters, Darlene Hood of Frederick and Ida Clanin of Astoria.
Three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Summum Christian Church and he worked in the underground coal mines and as a farm hand.
Services were held Monday at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad.
