Russell L. Waggoner, 64, a lifetime resident of Astoria, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 1974, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.
Mr. Waggoner was born Aug. 26, 1909, at Vermont, the son of George and Dorothy Valentine Waggoner. He married Darlene Derry Dec. 23, 1929, in Macomb. She survives.
He was a member of the Astoria Christian Church.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Charles Russell Waggoner of Astoria, two grandsons and one brother Wayne Waggoner of Astoria.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Astoria Christian Church with Rev. Dale Eddington officiating. Burial was in the Summum Cemetery.
