Mrs. George W. (Dorothy) Waggoner, 80, of Astoria, died suddenly in her home early Thursday morning.
Mrs. Waggoner was born on May 7, 1892 in Astoria, a daughter of Isaac and Nellie Morningstar Valentine. She was married to George W. Waggoner on Sept. 19, 1906. He preceded her in death in 1970.
Survivors include two sons, Russell Waggoner and Wayne Waggoner, both of Astoria; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Two brothers are deceased.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home with Rev. Dale Eddington officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
