Paul M. Van Fossen, 78, of Rushville, died at 1:56 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 1988, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
He was born Sept. 15, 1909, in Astoria, a son of William and Mamie Ring Van Fossen. He married Fern M. Danner Mar. 6, 1936, in Macomb. She survives.
Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Lela Chockley of Galesburg. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Rushville United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Roy Adams officiating. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home.
