VeteranDale E. VanFossen Dies In Colorado

Dale E. VanFossen, 63, of Kremmling, Colo., formerly of Table Grove, died Nov. 6, 1985, in Presbyterian Hospital, Denver, Colo. He was born in Table Grove on July 31, 1922. He married Pauline Shaffer in Galesburg on Dec. 31, 1964.

Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mamie VanFossen of Rushville; three daughters, Debra Terry of Thornton, Colo., Pat Quick of New Jersey, and Sue Friend of Abingdon; two brothers, Paul VanFossen of Rushville and Earl VanFossen of Ipava; one sister, Lela Chockley of Galesburg; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

He was reared and educated in Table Grove and moved to Kremmling in 1972. He was a wholesale and retail salesman most of his life. He operated Outfitter Western Wear in Kremmling for the last 2½ years.

A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Rotary Club in Kremmling.

Funeral services were held Nov. 11 in Kremmling Community Church. Burial was in Kremmling Cemetery.
