Duane D. Ulmer, 69, of Lewistown, died at 5:56 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 1996 at the Elms Nursing Home, Macomb.
He was born July 2, 1926 in Fulton County, the son of H.D. and Fern (Thomson) Ulmer. He married Martha Lee Harn on Sept. 2, 1944. She survives in Lewistown.
He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Fern Ulmer of Macomb; two sons, William D. Ullmer of Lewistown and Michael L. Ulmer of Table Grove; one daughter, Sue E. Keime of Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Mathew and Amanda Ulmer of Table Grove, Tyler Keime, Devon and Alexa Dailey of Chillicothe; and one sister, Betty Beasley of Quincy.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Ulmer had been a Ford Dealer for 32 years, first in Ipava and more recently in Lewistown, retiring in 1989. He was a former fireman and trustee for the Table Grove Fire Protection District. He served on the Fulton/Mason Welfare Service Board and the Lewistown Zoning Board. He was a member of the Table Grove Community Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Table Grove Community Church with Rev. Howard Self officiating. Burial was in the Harris Cemetery at Table Grove.
Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell was in charge of arrangements.
