She was born March 29, 1930, in Bader, a daughter of Paul and Anna Keller Johnson. She married Boyd Allen Sager on March 26, 1949, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1985.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Mark Sager; one grandson, Justin Sager; one brother, Bill Johnson; and one sister, Mary Jo Patton.
Surviving are four sons, Kevin and Paul (and Jeanie) Sager, both of Astoria; Wyatt (and Trish) Sager of Beardstown and Jim Sager of Peoria; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of Woodland Church of the Brethren in Astoria.
A funeral service was held Dec. 24, 2019, at her church. A graveside service was held Dec. 26 at Astoria Cemetery. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown was in charge of arrangements.
