He was born Dec. 28, 1987, in Springfield, a son of Bob and JoAnn Skillen Stambaugh.
Surviving are his parents; his grandmother, Larella Stambaugh of Astoria; and one brother, Adam (and Katie Bryant) Stambaugh of Macomb.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Verle “Buck” Stambaugh and Cecelia and Joseph Skillen.
He graduated from Spoon River College and the Wind Airstream School in California. He was a forklift operator at Nestle-Purina Company in Davenport.
He was a St. Jude Child.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Professor Joe Degitz officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the services. A Celebration of Life will be held following the service at The Boomerang in Astoria.
