Orley D. Samuell, 72, of Lewistown, died at 4:33 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 1980, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born Oct. 25, 1907, in Ipava, the son of Robert and Emma Foutch Samuell. He married Hazel Guffey on Aug. 22, 1927, in Unionville, Mo.
He was a retired farmer and member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his wife; one son, James A. of Lewistown; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Arthur S. McKinley officiating. Burial was in the Summum Cemetery.
