Astoria Woman Dies At Peoria State Hospital

Miss Della Schisler passed away Sunday at the Peoria State hospital, where she had been confined for some time.

Miss Schisler was born January 19, 1898 at Astoria, the daughter of Samuel and Lydia Ebbert Schisler. She was aged 47 years, 2 months and 12 days.

She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: John, Ray, Clarence and Jake of Astoria, Mrs. Alma Wickert of Dixon, Mrs. Bessie Long of Farmington and Orpha of Lincoln, and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She spent the greater part of her life around Astoria. She became a member of the Church of the Brethren at an early age. She had been in failing health for the last six months but bore her affliction with patience. It has been said by those in charge of the hospital that she helped with the work as long as her health permitted and done her work well.

Funeral services were held at the Church of the Brethren this afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G. G. Canfield and Rev. E. F. Sherfy. Burial in South Fulton cemetery.
