She was born July 7, 1926, in Ray, a daughter of Loren and Mary Trone. She married Victor Dale Ralston on June 16, 1943, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Gary Ralston; and two sisters, Lorene Sullivan and Freda Tatman.
Surviving are her children, Brian (and Sherry) Ralston of Rushville and Randy (and Kaiping) Ralston of Normal; one brother, C.W. Trone of Rushville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She attended Astoria Schools. Later in life, she went back and received her GED in Rushville.
She accepted the Lord at age 13 at Astoria Church of the Brethren and was re-baptized at Ripley Church of God where she became a longtime member.
She worked at Maid Rite and Tastee Freeze restaurants, but her main occupation was as a homemaker.
A funeral service was held Tuesday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown with burial in Palm Cemetery, near Rushville.
Memorials may be made to Beardstown Fire and Rescue, Paralyzed Veterans of America or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
