Peggy RumlerPeggy A. Rumler, 70, of Vermont died at 7:40 a.m. Jan. 9, 2013, at The Elms in Macomb.

She was born July 8, 1942, in Beardstown, a daughter of Willis and Doris E. Orwig Parry. She married Larry D. Rumler on Aug. 10, 1957, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2003.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy LeAnn Garrett.

Surviving are two sons, Gregg Rumler of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Mike (and Marla) Rumler of Ipava; three sisters, Phyllis Bernius and Kathy Little, both of Vermont and Margaret Tomaszek of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, Bobby (and Janet) Parry of Vermont; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She worked for Vermont Foundry in Vermont for several years. She then worked as a waitress at Bernie's Grill in Vermont.

She was a member of Jehovah's Witness in the Lewistown congregation.

Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Stan Shaw officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Lewistown or Autism Spectrum Institute in Normal.
