Larry RumlerLarry D. Rumler, 63, of Vermont died at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born April 22, 1940, in Canton, a son of Howard K. and Elva Sprague Rumler. He married Peggy Ann Parry on Aug. 10, 1957. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Greg (and Brandi) of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Michael (and Marla) of Ipava; one daughter, LeAnn (and Matt) Garrett of Vermont; three brothers, Bob (and Barb) of Milwaukee, Rollin (and Judy) of Bernadotte and Harry (and Shirley) of Canton; three sisters, Betty Stouffer of California, Leta (and John) Stufflebeam of Lewistown and Reta (and Bob) Kirkpatrick of Canton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Willis, Arlo and Howard.

He was a superintendent at the Vermont Foundry, where he worked for the past 46 years.

Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Stan Shaw officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
