Louis LaVerne Ralston, 84, of Frederick died at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Heritage Manor South in Beardstown.
He was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Rushville, a son of Louis and Lettie Long Ralston. He married Betty Heath on Jan. 17, 1965. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Brenda (and Tony) Wessel of Frederick; one son, Marty (and Thelma) of Frederick; three grandsons; two great-grandsons; and one sister, Rita Jones of Astoria.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Victor Ralston; and one sister, Rosalie Holtkamp.
He was a bulldozer operator, farmer and carpenter.
He was a member of Church of Christ in Rushville.
Services were held Friday at Wood-Roby Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Jim Phillips officiating. Burial was in Messerer Cemetery near Frederick.
