She was born July 23, 1930, in Schuyler County, a daughter of Louis and Lettie Long Ralston. She married Robert Jones on May 23, 1948, in Ripley. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1992.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Bill Jones; two brothers, LaVerne and Victor Ralston; one sister, Rosalie Holtkamp; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
Surviving are three daughters, Kathy (and Bill) Pollitt and Donna (and Steve) Hamblin, both of Astoria, and Rhonda (and Chuck) Sosey of Lewistown; two sons, Danny Jones and Larry Jones, both of Astoria; one daughter-in-law, Dee Jones of Astoria; 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was a farmwife, housewife and grandmother to all.
She was a member of Bader Christian Church and the Astoria HEA.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matt Haberman and Jason Rennert officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at the Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad.
