Clarence “Bruce” Robertson, 90, of Browning, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 1996, at his home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1906, in Browning, a son of Fred and Ethel McFetridge Robertson.
Surviving are three brothers, Keith Robertson of Gardner, Maine, Guy Robertson of Browning and J.C. Robertson of Beardstown; one sister, Maude Leighton of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
He worked as a painter for CB&Q Railroad for many years. He was sexton of Browning Cemetery.
Graveside services were held Monday at Browning Cemetery with Jim Shirley officiating. Wood-Roby Funeral Chapel in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
