Sandra S. Pigg, 76, of Canton, formerly of Summum, died at 4:15 p.m. March 25, 2018, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Canton, a daughter of Aubrey L. and Betty J. West Ford. She married Lloyd Pigg on June 7, 1960, in Smithfield. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2014.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Tarter.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (and Ruth “Kikey”) Pigg of Summum and Mark (and Alison) Pigg of Statesville, N.C.; two brothers, Donald Ford of Texas and Vernon Ford of Smithfield; and two grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
She was part of a sewing guild.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private service with family will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
