He was born Jan. 19, 1962, in Canton, a son of Lloyd and Sandra Ford Pigg. He married Ruth Kikey on July 28, 2012, in Mexico. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Bruno Pigg of Summum; one brother, Mark (and Alison) Pigg of Statesville, N.C.; and one niece, Taylor Pigg of Statesville, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He was a meat cutter and owner and operator of Astoria Meat Market.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service was held Sunday at Summum Christian Church with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Harbor Lights Hospice or the Fulton County Humane Society.
