LAWRENCE P. “JACK” PARR

Lawrence P. "Jack" Parr, 80, of Table Grove died at 5:41 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born July 3, 1920, in Summum, a son of Ralph and Edith Beam Parr. He married Jo Ann Danner on April 6, 1946, in Lewistown. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda Jo (and Bobby Joe) Fawcett and Kendra "Kandi" (and Ricky Lynn) Hayes, both of Table Grove; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Flossie Danner and Nelda Herriford, both of Macomb; two stepsisters, Darlene Waggoner and Dorothy Brillhart, both of Astoria; and one stepbrother, Bernard Derry of Astoria.

He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, four stepbrothers and one stepsister.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

He was employed by Vermont Township for 37 years, serving the past seven years as Vermont Township road commissioner.

He was a member of American Legion Post 26 in Vermont.

A memorial service will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Cremation has been accorded. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
