She was born March 17, 1923, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Ralph and Edith Beam Parr. She married Wilbert “Bill” Danner on Aug. 23, 1941, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1987.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Rick Danner; two brothers, Jack and Dean Parr; and two sisters, Nelda Herriford and Wanda Averill.
Surviving are one son, Roger (and Sherry) Danner of Morton; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker. She and her husband farmed in the Adair area for 40 years. She also worked at Ford Hopkins in Macomb for two years and in housekeeping at the McDonough District Hospital for 15 years.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Tim Gilliland officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
