Lois L. Price, 79, of Astoria died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2000, at her home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Astoria, a daughter of Abraham H. and Louise Gardner Etter. She married Evan W. Price on March 27, 1939, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Rodney (and Beth) of Astoria; one daughter, Rhonda (and Michael) Barfield of St. Charles, Mo.; six grandchildren; and one sister, Goldie Brown of Astoria.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
She was co-owner of Price Oil Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of Astoria Christian Church, where services were held Monday with Gary Sheets and Rev. James Comstock officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
