Mrs. Mae S. Peterson, 100, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Astoria, died at 1:50 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 1991 in Florida.
She was born Jan. 16, 1891 in Astoria, a daughter of William S. and Mary E. Stremmel Danner. She married Edward G. (Ted) Peterson on June 21, 1910. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1961.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Harriett) Hall of Cape Coral, Fla.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Weber of Cuba and Mrs. Grace Ganoe of Macomb.
She was preceded in death by one son, Willard and two brothers, Bransford and Lloyd Danner.
She was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Astoria Church of the Brethren with Rev. Wayne Rouse officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.
