Mrs. Eva Prather, 84, of Astoria, died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1982, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.
She was born Dec. 17, 1897, in Fulton County, a daughter of Leonard and Anna (Osborn) Painter. She married Orville Prather in 1919. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Kenneth of Astoria; three grandsons; two great-grandsons and one sister, Mrs. Naomi McKinley of Astoria.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
