Kenneth F. Prather, 90, of Astoria, died at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28, 2010, at Astoria Gardens and Rehab Center.
He was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Woodland Township of Fulton County, the son of Orville and Eva Painter Prather. He married Lois Sheckler on Jan. 21, 1950, in Bushnell. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Keith (and Rosemarie) Prather and Russell (and Glenna) Prather, both of Astoria and Edward (and LeeAnn) Prather of West Blocton, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was a lifetime farmer.
He was a member of Fulton County Farm Bureau and lifetime member of National Rifle Association.
Graveside services were held Friday at Astoria Cemetery with Gary Sheets officiating.
Memorials may be made to Doris Parry Memorial Gardens care of Astoria Gardens, 1008 East Broadway, Astoria. Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
