Marshall Parry Former Resident Dies

Marshall M. Parry, 67, of 155 Moschel, East Peoria, former Astoria area resident, died at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1980, in Proctor Hospital, Peoria.

Born Aug. 26, 1913, near Astoria, a son of Edward and Cora Danner Parry, he married M. Lucille Kalebaugh Jan. 2, 1936, in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Adolph (Donna) Baum Jr., Mrs. Robert (Dixie) Blanch and Patricia Royer, all of East Peoria; one son, Marshall Allen of Peoria; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Also surviving are one brother, Floyd of Washington; and three sisters, Mrs. Velma Carey of Peoria, Mrs. Betty Geiman of Vermont and Mrs. Mildred Lannery of Ipava.

A retired carpenter, he was a member of Carpenter’s Union, Local 183, Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria, where visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening.

Glenn W. Giles will officiate and burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
