Mildred Lannery

Mildred LanneryMildred M. Lannery, 96, of Ipava died at 7 a.m. March 14, 2019, at Clayberg Nursing Center in Cuba.

She was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Astoria, a daughter of Edward and Cora Danner Parry. She married Eldon R. Lannery on Jan. 29, 1938, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1979.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Richard Lannery; two brothers, Marshall and Floyd Parry; and two sisters, Velma Carey and Betty Geiman.

Surviving are one son, Gerald “Buck” (and Sun) Lannery of Ipava; three daughters, Barbara (and Merle) Tarvin of Topeka, Judy (and Bob) Ogden of Ipava and Coni McKay of Alexandria, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She did painting and wallpapering.

She was a member of Fulton County Farm Bureau and the Ipava American Legion Auxiliary.

Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Doug Krukewitt officiating. Burial was at Sheldons Grove Cemetery in Browning.
