Richard W. Lannery, 70, of Lewistown died at 12:12 p.m. May 6, 2009, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born Aug. 15, 1938, in Astoria, a son of Eldon and Mildred Parry Lannery. He married Connie Beadles on June 8, 1963, in Ipava. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Ipava; three daughters, Carla (and Brad) Fisher of Canton, Darcy Brannon of Lewistown and Tracy (and Justin) Lannery-Brown of Peoria; one brother, Gerald (and Suncho) Lannery of Ipava; three sisters, Barbara (and Merle) Tarvin of Havana, Judy (and Bob) Ogden of Ipava and Coni and (Tom) McKay of Alexandria, Minn.; and two grandchildren.

He was a Navy veteran serving from 1958-1962.

He worked at International Harvester Canton Works for over 18 years. Then he worked at Pinkerton Security for a number of years.

He was a member of Ipava Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Peoria.

Graveside services were held Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Rev. Danie deBeer officiating. Military services were conducted by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and Lewistown American Legion Post 1. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
