Violet H. Myers, 92, of Astoria Healthcare Center died there at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2000.
She was born Feb. 24, 1908, in Astoria, a daughter of Charles A. and Mamie C. Curtis Myers.
Surviving are two brothers, Charles Myers of Astoria and Merlin (and Wanda) Myers of Ipava; and two sisters, Martha Howell of Oklahoma City and Lauralee (and Joe) Sedmack of Redlands, Calif.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
She worked as a secretary at Ausburg College in Minneapolis, Minn., and also worked at the Rock Island Arsenal.
She was a member of Presbyterian Church in Highland Park, Calif.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery.
