LuCinda LogsdonLuCinda Sipes Logsdon, 57, of Rushville died at 2:12 a.m. Nov. 1, 2015, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 26, 1958, in Rushville, a daughter of Gerald A. and Lulu Justine Lashbrook Sipes. She married Larry A. Phillips on May 23, 1978, in Rushville. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jason Aaron Phillips and James Patrick Phillips, both of Rushville; one stepdaughter, Pam (and R. C.) Lowe of Geneseo; four brothers, Gerald M. “Marley” (and Donna) Sipes and Steven Earl (and Lori) Sipes, both of Rushville, Jerry Lee (and Tina) Sipes of Meredosia and Sam A. (and Patty) Sipes of Bluff Springs; three sisters, Teena (and Robert) Woodruff and Tammy Workman, both of Rushville, and Paula (and Barry) Scego of Browning; and one step grandchild.

She was a graduate of Rushville High School with the class of 1976.

She was a heavy highway construction laborer and a member of Laborer’s Local #231 in Pekin.

She also was a member of Rushville Church of Christ Christian.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Greg Fish officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Neck Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
